Glazing

Exi Glaze is a specially formulated compressible gasket that has been tested to BSEN1634-1 and BS 476:pt22 for 30 minutes. These gaskets have been specifically designed for use in glazed apertures in fire resisting timber doors. They have the ability to accommodate variances between door and glass thickness and are available in both self-adhesive and push fit versions.

Exi Glaze 60 and Exi Glaze 60 F1 are effective 60 minute glazing solutions for glazed apertures within timber fire doors.
These systems have been designed to overcome the problems in 60 minute applications using non-insulated glass which results in high temperatures and therefore erosion of the door and beads during fire testing.
